Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?

Within this project I have looked at masculitity through the female gaze, male behaviours, sexual preferences, and codes within our communities.

Working with wire, cardboard, paper and cement I began to examine the loss of the toxic sterotypical ‘Macho Male’ in our society… only to discover that the urban cowboy still exsits .. highly visable within our communities.

They dont wear spurs or a stetson … they do however still carry weapons, gravitate to gang culture and die too young defending their territories.
